One of the highlights of Sundance 2020 was this chat with Ron Howard, director of the documentary, Rebuilding Paradise. This is a powerful documentary about the fires that raged across the Northern California town of Paradise, California in 2018. As residents of the Bay Area who lived through the effects of this tragedy, we were especially moved by this film. Ron discusses how he picked this story, what he learned about the community in Paradise, and what it was like sifting through painful real life footage.
