Bay Area, REP-RE-SENT! We're so excited to bring you our chat with the writer/director/star of The Fabulous Filipino Brothers, Dante Basco. We get into his process of writing the film, starring alongside his real life family, and what it feels like to bring his film back home to the Bay. We discuss our shared love for Hip Hop activist Ruby Ibarra, and he gives us some insight on his 30+ years in the entertainment industry. As kids watching him on shows like Moesha and The Fresh Prince of Bel Air, this was a really full circle interview, and we're so glad we had people like Dante to pave the way for more Asian American representation.
