Another one of our favorite SF dive bars is closing on October 6. The Hemlock Tavern is near and dear to our hearts at Bitch Talk. Not only have we spent many a night drinking and listening to local, live music in the musty back room, we also celebrated our 100th episode (200 episodes ago?!?) with a live event in said musty room. We thought we'd honor the place with travel writer, blogger, ex-Sf mayoral candidate, and all around good guy to drink with: Broke-Ass Stuart. You won't want to miss his eloquent ode to the bar entitled "The Hemlock Tavern is Trying to Kill You" (spoiler: he means it in a good way).
