014 - Dj Skylark - infeCtious Guest Mix

This week's guest mix if full of groovy underground vibes by DJ Skylark with a bit of naughtiness thrown in for good measure! :)

With humble origins of DJing in Cardiff around the University circuit then progressing to DJing at Beach Break Festival, London has become the nest of the Skylark bird.

Not only being one of the finalist of Dj Mag Next Generation world wide competition, 2014 has proven to be one year that has pushed my hunger to fly even higher.

From venues all over London, including a weekly slot at "Corrupt" Radio, Pacha, and currently running a blog called Word of Mouth, music has opened my eyes to push beyond the norm of what outside the box has to offer.

To me a truly great DJ can make a whole room fall in love.It's that passion that blossoms shared moods of pure bliss.In the hands of a master, music creates rituals of spiritual communication that can be the most memorable events in people's lives.

I believe that music is the expression of the soul, no matter what genre it is, as long as it gets me off my feet and bouncing away..you know I'll be that crazy girl who will play it!

But when it comes to expressing my passion,my mixes always withhold the secret Skylark ingredients of surprises, bass, and pure underground naughtiness ;)

2014 has come with its rewards, but now that I am currently producing and working on my own project. I have no doubt 2014 will have a lot more surprises to come!
