About Hussein Al-Baiaty
Coming from a refugee camp in war-torn Iraq in the early 90s, I know about resilience. In the past decade, I built a million-dollar printing company and created Refutees to give back to refugees through T-shirts and collaboration.

I have worked with School Districts and brands ranging from local Pizza joints to Nike. I have received awards such as Oregon's Immigrant of the Year in 2018 and Portland Trail Blazers Hero of the Month in 2021.

After my father passed, I was reminded that time is precious, and I wanted to use my story to inspire and motivate others through speaking, coaching, and writing.

In 2020, I sold my company and wrote a best-selling book, "Art of Resilience: The Refugee State of Mind," before moving with my wife to Arizona.

Today, I am a solopreneur, working with non-fiction authors to build their brands online and grow their audience organically.
