Inside the City 2025-8-22 Crystal Dermer

Palmer Public Administration Assistant Crystal Dermer joins Mike Chmielewski on Inside the City.

The Department of Public Works has responsibilities that include street cleaning, maintenance of city vehicles and equipment, managing refuse collection, and numerous other tasks, organized into seven departments. Crystal’s job is to keep all the departments organized and to stay on top of the mountain of paperwork that comes from running city services. Crystal is the person you will speak with when you call the Public Works department. She may not know all the answers, but she knows where to look or who will have the answer.
