Why Christians Believe God Is Triune

The God of Biblical revelation that Christians confess is Father, Son and Holy Spirit! Why do Christians believe this? It is expressed clearly in a few verses that name the three as one such as Matthew 28:19 and 2 Corinthians 13:14. However it is words of Jesus himself in the teaching he gave his apostles before his death and subsequent resurrection and ascension back to the Father and the promised descent of the Holy Spirit that compel us to confess God as Father Son and Spirit. This is the God who makes himself known saving in and through Messiah Jesus by the Holy Spirit. Let's listen to his words!
