Mountain Moving Faith

Jesus uses an exaggerated illustration of mountain moving faith on several occasions to show the power of prayer offered in faith to God in his name, on his authority for the accomplishing of God's will and his glory. Matthew uses the statement twice, first in Matthew 17 when Jesus healed the boy of a deaf and mute spirit and later when he  came into Jerusalem in Matthew 21.
