Jesus eighth day after his birth by Mary was highly significant. Two great events transpired as recorded by Luke 2:21 And at the end of eight days, when he was circumcised, he was called Jesus, the name given by the angel before he was conceived in the womb. More precisely Eight days after his birth, the child was circumcised and named Yeshua. This was the name the angel had given him before his mother became pregnant. [Name of God Translation]
By his circumcision Yeshua is marked as a child of the Abraham Covenant and under the later added covenant with Israel through Moses. On the eighth day, the flesh of the boy’s foreskin shall be circumcised, Leviticus 12:3

Generation after generation, every male must be circumcised when he is eight days old, including those born in your household and those purchased from a foreigner--even those who are not your offspring. Genesis 17:12

Paul relates in Galatians,  But when the fullness of time had come, God sent forth his Son, born of woman, born under the law. Galatians 4:4 4 But when the right time came, God sent his Son into the world. A woman gave birth to him, and he came under the control of the laws given to Moses. (NOG)
Here is the question. What does Jesus' circumcision have to do with the cross and what bearing does it have on the life believers, the Christian?
