In today’s reading (Ezekiel 5–8), Ezekiel acts out God’s judgment by cutting and scattering his hair, symbolizing what will happen to God’s people. Yet even in judgment, God promises a faithful remnant. We’re reminded that silver, gold, and worldly security will not matter when Jesus returns, and that nothing is hidden from God.
