Solomon’s legacy is shattered—and the kingdom of Israel is torn in two. Pride, disobedience, and spiritual compromise lead to the rise of two kings: Rehoboam and Jeroboam. Both had the opportunity to walk with God. Neither did.

In today’s reading, we unpack why the kingdom split, how fear led to idolatry, and why we must never let others talk us out of what God has told us to do.
