Dr. Everett McCorvey is an accomplished vocalist and leader of many impressive organizations including University of Kentucky Opera Theatre and the National Chorale.  Our conversation today centers around the work of another organization he founded, the American Spiritual Ensemble.  In this powerful episode, Everett shares his journey to music, the incredible "why" behind the creation of the American Spiritual Ensemble and the role he hopes it will play in our country's important conversations about systemic racism and inequality and how making music will help us to make important change.
