Foundations Weekend 2022-2023, Session I - Rev. Tim Case - The Lordship of Jesus

For the first session of Foundations Weekend 2022, Pastor Tim Case shares with our student body a foundational truth, the Lordship of Christ. Romans 1:4 states, "and was declared to be the Son of God in power according to the Spirit of holiness by his resurrection from the dead, Jesus Christ our Lord". Pastor Tim Case emphasizes the freedom Christians have when they understand what comes from making Jesus truly the Lord of their lives. He affirms, "If we truly want to be free, we should use our freedom to trust God. We need to give up trying to be our own lord and just let Jesus be the Lord of our lives."
