The #1 Essential to Success Business Owners need to do now!

One of my favorite topics to discuss is also the #1 secret that you can use to be more successful in both life and business and that is being present. When we show up and are present for both life business and our families every day. This is the best present that we can give our loved ones.It's also the best present that you give your clients,  your team, or anybody that you are showing up for. I know so often as business owners and leaders we are pulled in so many different directions that we’re unaware of how scattered we show up.  One key is more active listening in a conversation.  Don't just wait for your turn to talk. Really listen to them. Understand that you only have so many hours in a day that you can connect with people and be really present. While you're at work, give it your all, be present, attend to the relationships, both the client and the team members that need you to be all in while you're there.

 People feel appreciated when they are seen and heard. A very simple way to show someone you value them is to look them in the eye.

And, when you are with your family, trust that everything's OK at work.  Then, while you're home, trust that everything's OK at work.  Be present, and be all in with the kids.  I realize more people are working from home, and it's not easy.  Just shut the door and say, OK, during this time, I'm at work. And you can even put a sign up  that says "in session."  You're at work now and 100% focused on it.

Remember this is the sexy side of professionalism. This is where we are conscientious. We're the best version of ourselves.
