5 Most Common Fears of Female Entrepreneurs and How To Overcome Them

Today we're going to discuss a topic that's near and dear to my heart. Being a female business owner and leader myself, it is a bit of an emotional one.   As a female business leader and business owner, I have struggled with a lot of these, so let's discuss the five most common fears and how to overcome them.

The number one fear is fear of failure. This is the number one fear of all people.  Most people are afraid of failing. As a business owner or anyone who's thinking of becoming a business owner, you have a side hustle. You are a creative artist, and you didn't realize you were in business. And all of a sudden you are.  Whatever type of business background you are coming to us from. Please understand that. Not just business owners, but all people have this fear of failure and failure is just one of the many challenges that are on our way to success.

The number two fear is fear of uncertainty.   Risk can be very scary and you don't know everything.  But the other the flipside of risk is that it's all so exciting. And it's also why a lot of entrepreneurs want to get into business, because they like not knowing. They like that they have to figure out a bunch of different things to overcome, you know, because it's uncertain. So right now, the fear of uncertainty is running rampant more than ever because of everything that has gone on in the world in the last 12 months.  
The best thing we can do to overcome this is to focus on clarity, get really clear on how you're going to lead your team, how you're going to build your brand and how you're going to attract the right client for your company.

Number three is fear of rejection. A lot of female business owners and entrepreneurs almost quit before they get started because of that fear of rejection. They don't know how to sell or they don't think they're going to be good at something or they feel like, oh, someone else is probably already doing it better than me. So I'm just going to reject myself before I even put myself out there to get rejected. So the fear of rejection just stems back from fearing what other people think of you.
