Listen to What's There

"Listen to what I'm saying, not for the holes in what I'm saying. I know there are holes." An incredible man, strong leader, dear friend, and mentor of mine told me this while we were in a far away land. It had profound impact on me given the individual and the situation. I still hear his words and it continues to impact and shape the way I try to listen, both to others and myself.
