Steven Salm is the Founder & CEO of PLANTA Restaurants, a fast-growing international, Toronto-based hospitality group whose mission is to continuously expand the power of plant-based living by creating dining experiences that encourage guests to both let loose and feel nourished, balancing indulgence with wellness. 

Born and raised in New York, Salm found an early appreciation for restaurants, cooking and fine dining. He has been recognized as one of Ontario’s 30 under 30 by OHI, as Rising Star of the Year at the Global Stadium 2011 Business Awards and has been on Toronto Life Magazine’s “Most Influential” list each year since 2017.

Driven by his enthusiasm for entrepreneurship and hospitality, Salm founded his first restaurant group, Chase Hospitality Group, in 2012 at the young age of 27. Today, PLANTA Restaurants includes eight incredibly successful restaurants across New York City, Miami, West Palm Beach and Toronto, with no plans to slow down.
