We’ve been waiting all summer for Leon Draisaitl to get his name on the dotted line for a new contract, and on Tuesday morning, we finally got the news. On Tuesday morning, the Oilers announced that their German star had signed an eight-year contract extension that carries a $14 million AAV. Whatever happened to the rumours that Leon wanted to sign in Boston? Remember those? Classic.
