The character of Ernest had humble beginnings in television commercials, but soon made the leap to the big screen. Although critics were never a big fan, his movies were staples video rental stores in the 80's and 90's. We talk all the positives in this holiday classic, including how Ernest has influenced everyone from Jim Carrey, to Michael Scott and The Briscoe Brothers.
