After 36 years in the corporate world, Joanna reached a crossroads many would find terrifying – yet she embraced it as a divine nudge forward. The signs had been there all along: losing her job at 40, which created space to meet her soulmate… the heartbreak of a fertility journey that opened her to a deeper calling… and a 200-mile coast-to-coast walk that brought clarity about the life she was destined to live.

When she chose ‘trust’ as her word for the year, the Universe answered with perfect synchronicity. A speaking engagement about unshakable identity led to an unexpected – yet perfectly timed – corporate exit, exactly 18 months after she had set that intention with her coach. As she handed in her resignation, her phone lit up with 11:11 – a cosmic wink.

Now, at 54, when society might expect her to be settling down, Joanna and her husband are selling their home and belongings to walk 500 miles from France to Spain before travelling the world indefinitely. Through her podcast Becoming No Ordinary Woman and mentoring programmes, she’s showing others that their unconventional dreams aren’t crazy – they’re divinely assigned.

“I have never felt more free, more happy, or more me in my life,” Joanna says. Her story is living proof that what feels like an ending can actually be a beautiful redirection – and that it’s never too late to trust the path that calls to you.
