#106: "Men must be resurrected in the truth, or perish in their own hatred"--Dostoevsky

Dr. John Hittinger from the University of Saint Thomas in Houston sent me the following;
...found a great quote from Fyodor Dostoevsky, the great Russian writer, in his novel 'The Brothers Karamozov'. Ivan, the child who does not believe and tries to disprove God tells the cynical story of the Grand Inquisitor--the pious brother, the Christian, named Alyosha--says, "Men must be resurrected in the truth, or perish in their own hatred."

That line keeps coming back to me--the truth that will raise us up is the Gospel, the truth of the good Creator, the Father, who sent His only Son Jesus to die for us and calls us to live like Him.
