Struggles and Promises: Shaped for Holiness

From Beautiful Savior Lutheran Church in SeaTac, WA, this sermon reflects on Luke 13: 22–30 and Hebrews 12: 4–24.

Jesus warns that the narrow door requires urgency and effort some will knock too late. Hebrews reminds us that the struggles we face are not signs of punishment, but the loving discipline of a Father shaping His children into holiness. Even when it hurts, God is training us to be heirs of His eternal Kingdom.

Through Christ, we are called beyond fear and despair into the joy of Mount Zion where God’s promises are fulfilled in His Son.
