How dependent should you be on God? Humanity is fickle and inconstant when it comes to our beliefs and faith. Ancient scripture accounts speak of Gideon's army being reduced to a ridiculous number in order that Jehovah’s intervention on behalf of Israel would be the more striking and all the glory His. 

So, who do you rely on? Our natural instinct is to depend upon self for survival. If you depend on God for deliverance from oppression and strife, to what degree do you depend, and how much is God involved in your life today? Join us today as Pastor Tony takes a second look at the prophet and judge, Gideon. He probably felt uncertain that an army of only 300 could overcome the Midianites, and yet, somehow at ease relying on God’s intervention. But did it diminish his self-reliance and sense of empowerment? He wasn’t alone having an army of 300 to take the Midianites down. Perhaps, it's time to reframe your dependence on God and become the Agent of Change you are meant to be?
