Have you ever made a snap judgment? Sized someone up? Given them the “once-over”? Homo sapiens (humans) have been doing it for centuries as a means of survival. Our brains are wired to see differences as a threat. We stereotype. But the author of the Old Testament book of Judges blew up the stereotypical role of women in Israel with the prophetess and only female judge of the fifteen mentioned in the Old Testament, Deborah. Why? Join us today as Pastor Tony explores the lessons we can learn today from applying an ethos of inclusivity and see that stereotyping does, in fact, have a beneficial place in our lives.
