Today’s sermon is from our vault of archived messages of the past two years. Pastor Tony, like so many of us have now experienced, was exposed to the COVID-19 virus this past week at church. He tested negative today, but out of an overabundance of caution, he did not attend our service of worship. We are instead replaying a sermon he preached March 22, 2020, when our nation and our church had just moved into lockdown over the Corona virus, known now as COVID-19.
We replay this sermon for you now as a reminder of how far we’ve come and how much our spiritual community at Beatitudes and our world has adapted amidst the endless cycle of variants, protocols, toilet paper hoarding, and mandates. We invite you to listen to it again from a new perspective—one related to our ongoing sermon series, “Agents of Change”. This time around, try seeing it through a new lens forged in experience that can only be crafted by you as an Agent of Change.
Recorded previously at Beatitudes Church in Phoenix, AZ on 03/22/20, and replayed on 01/23/22
Preaching: Rev. Tony Minear, Ph.D.
Scripture: Deuteronomy 31:8; 1 John 4:18; Isaiah 43:1
Scripture Reader: Janelle Tapphorn
