Who's in charge here? The Book of Judges covers about 300 years of the history of the Israelites and Jewish people, and the endless pattern of captivity and release under the leadership of 15 Judges. Many believe the writer of Judges designed it to influence a course of action for the deliverance of the Israelites held captive in Babylonia. But if God will not allow sin to go unpunished, does that justify the year-after-year cycle of captivity and release in their unrequited search for a King? And does it matter to us now?  

Join us today as Pastor Tony introduces us to his new worship series: "Agents of Change". Explore the lessons the Israelites’ story has for us today, and how God’s interaction brought about a religious culture of exclusivity for their nation. Today’s religious climate is one of both exclusivity and pluralism, but a shift is happening. Spiritual communities are exercising more curiosity and tolerance of one another allowing us to evolve and grow. Jesus was the ultimate model for an agent of change. Maybe it’s time we evolved and became agents ourselves?
