We are so hungry spiritually, we are desperate. And then, a perfectly satisfying, specific, need-answering BREAD plops down from heaven. It is a life or death situation. Take and taste the bread, or refuse and delay.  Surprisingly, those in our story for the day say, "Naw, this is not for me, at least yet."
