You are NOT FAR from the Kingdom

Listen as your knuckleheaded teacher tries to summarize a day that is known as Great and Holy Tuesday because of Jesus' extensive teaching.  On this day of the Great Week there are 5 ½ chapters in Matthew, and 3 in Mark.

This passage in Mark 12 is a treasure.  We find a knowledgable yet teachable man who tells Jesus "You're RIGHT" and then goes a little bit further as you can see the Holy Spirit rattling around inside his head and heart.  Jesus then assesses him:   "You are NOT FAR from the kingdom!"  What a story.
