The Road To JOY! S11e6 2cor1:24

7 minutes on the Road To Joy.  What could be better? What is the ROAD TO JOY paved with? For the Corinthians, it is paved with godly grief and repentance.  

But it doesn't sound like being a Pastor is any picnic either.  Paul describes himself as afflicted, anguished of heart, and with many tears.  

Why would the people and the pastor put themselves on such a painful path?  Why does anyone even go to church if it is a pain for the pastor and the people? 

BECAUSE IT LEADS TO JOY.  Christianity is real. You can REALLY have a relationship with God and walk with Him.  It is no picnic when the frail sinner meets her God, but it is worth all the grief, all the tears, all the anguish for all parties concerned because there is JOY at the end of the road.
