We get treasure, but we are JARS OF CLAY.  Both are spiritual "challenges" to get our head around. 

Before we get to the treasure,( for who doesn't want a bit of treasure?), you gotta go through the JAR OF CLAY concept.  We are dust, We are dirt.  We are clay.  Pride fights this concept strongly.  But God doesn't.  He made us literally and figuratively out of it.  He is anything but surprised.  It is as if God says, "Yes, I KNOW you are clay, and I chose to have a relationship with you.  I then want you to carry a treasure to the other pieces of dirt around you." God says, "These Jars of Clay are my people. And I'm gonna fill them with a treasure to share."
