When God reveals a new name, it is a BIG DEAL. It is a characteristic that lasts FOREVER. We will be calling Him the same "names of old" in eternity. 

The names also reveal something about ourselves.  Oops. I didn't know I NEEDED that quality of God.  Today we'll find out something new about God, and by extension, ourselves.
