GOOD EXCUSES for not PARTYING with GOD. Luke 14:20 (Episode #279)

I've got excuses, and so do you.  The guys in the story today have what I'd call GOOD EXCUSES:  big stuff:

• I just got married!
• I just bought 10 oxen, means of production, huge investment, lots of attention
• I just bought land, means of production, huge investment, lots of work ahead

It is all about PRIORITIES.  These are pretty reasonable excuses IMHO.  That is, unless you compare them of banqueting with God Himself.  If you over-value your excuse, or you under-value your God, you end up doing this wrong.

So how about you today:  

• What ECONOMIC excuse would you, and do you use?
• What RELATIONAL excuse would you, and do you use?
• What HEALTH excuse would you, and do you use?
• What LIFE GOAL excuse would you, and do you use?

Let's call a spade a spade today and identify (perfectly justifiable in my mind) EXCUSES:  "I'd be ON FIRE for God except for..." or "I'll be on FIRE for God when..."
