God The Father’s Sacrifice S22e17 Heb5:7

God the Father was not powerless at the suffering and crucifixion of His Son Jesus. In fact, today we learn that the Father was ABLE TO SAVE Jesus from death.  He wasn't absent from the throne that day either: The Father heard the prayers, supplications, and loud cries and saw the tears.

The Father did not hide His face from this horrible process.  Ps22:24 He(the Father) has NOT HIDDEN His face from Him(Jesus), but has heard Him when He cried to Him. The Father suffered that day too in restraining His more than adequate abilities to save Jesus.  The Father does not save Jesus. WHY? for people. For the LOVE of people. Sinners in current states of being enemies. To save people. For God the Father so loved the world that He gave His Son Jesus.
