People of faith get something that angels do not. Available to them is a process of redemption. They get a chance to be rescued. It is not angels God helps in this regard, it is PEOPLE.
How so?
- Resembles us. He becomes like us in taking on human flesh.
- Represents us. He becomes the high priest with authority of position enough to offer something on our behalf
- Rescues us. What He offers COUNTS. It is effective. It works.
- Restores things. He resets things back. Destroys death and he who had temporary power over it.
