Choosing yourself first and trusting your instincts takes boldness and awareness. For most of my life, I lived by what I thought I should do, not what I truly wanted. When I faced a life-changing decision during my breast cancer journey, I asked myself one powerful question: What choice reflects the person I want to be? That question gave me clarity, courage, and the strength to step fully into my authentic self. I needed to stop listening to everyone else and choose ME first. If you’ve ever felt stuck in others' expectations, this is your reminder: you have the power to choose YOU.
