Holstein Manufacturing was founded with the goal of simplifying the art of grilling and smoking, so one big distinguishing feature of Holstein products is the availability of propane as a primary heat source.

Their first unit (back in the ‘70’s) was designed to prepare a whole hog for a town fundraiser in order to save Turner Hall in Holstein, Iowa. They have carried that spirit of ingenuity into their massive line of products that are NSF and UL approved.
