The real estate industry continues to get attacked by all fronts from technology and disgruntled consumers. Make no mistake, it’s incredibly easy to get a real estate license as anyone that spends 2 months can become a Realtor. While the bar to get in is very low, the bar to do well is extremely hard. So what is the value of a Realtor today?

Think about the journey today. Consumer websites like Zillow, Trulia and Redfin have some of the best interfaces available. The search and acces to see properties is easier than ever. So how do I add value today? The value is knowing entire the process of homeownership, determining the fair market value of a home, knowing the drivers of a certain city/area, understanding the competition, negotiations, being aware of replacement costs and things to look at, a team of trusted professionals ranging from contractors, lenders, and also the relationship of other Realtors. My goal in every transaction is giving my clients the most information possible to make the best decision.
