In this episode the main reason for low backup in E Rickshaw and other deep cycle lead acid batteries and the importance of charging with special focus on the ‘specific gravity adjustments related to temperature’ is revealed. The equalization of cell specific gravities with correction factor related to temperature is a factor often overlooked at the time of dispatch and this can be a major reason for avoidable warranty claims.
