We're back! In this episode, Liz and I are talking about Octavia Butler's masterpiece: Parable of the Sower! This book was written over 50 years ago and is... spot on for a lot of things going on the world today?! Why is the government of a failing nation focusing on space exploration? Why are some people apathetic and others hyper-empathetic? Do people still have sexual appetites in times of crisis? Obviously Butler is a queen and Liz and I talk all about these questions and more while giggling for an hour straight.
