Food Events Extraordinaire, Jimmy Carbone and 1986 World Series Champion and 1989 NL MVP, Kevin Mitchell and Guest Co-host, Chef Ray Sheehan Keep the Hits Coming
Jimmy Carbone joined us on episode 201 and is back as he continues organizing extremely successful food events. Jimmy is a New York City-based restaurateur, event producer, and radio host. Jimmy produces several craft food and drink events in New York City, including Rib King NYC and Pig Island NYC. Jimmy has also hosted more than 500 episodes of Beer Sessions Radio and co-authored the I Like Pig cookbook. In all of his endeavors, Jimmy strives to connect farmers, chefs, brewers, and food and drink enthusiasts. We are additionally joined by Chef Ray Sheehan.
Kevin Mitchell is a former Major League player whose career highlights include being a two-time All-Star, a 1986 World Series Champion, winning the 1989 National League Most Valuable Player Award and Silver Slugger Award, and earning his place on the San Francisco Giants Wall of Fame. Kevin's baseball playing career spanned 13 seasons with 10 teams including a stint in Japan with the Fukuoka Daiei Hawks. His 1989 MVP season was spent with the San Francisco Giants and he helped lead them to that year's World Series against the Oakland Athletics.
