On December 28, 2017, Christmas decorations were still up in the home Robin Denson and 36-year-old Kaladaa Crowell created for their blended family. However, one of the family members wasn't feeling so joyful. Denson's 26-year-old son Marlin Joseph had a problem with Crowell's 11-year-old daughter Kyra. That day, he planned to do something about it.
