Travel blogger Carla Stefaniak left her Florida home for a whirlwind trip to Costa Rica to celebrate her 35th birthday in November 2018.  When she didn't get off her return flight, her family and friends descended into worry. Unfortunately, Costa Rican authorities didn't share their concern for Carla. When Carla's body was eventually found almost a week after her disappearance, the terrifying truth of what happened to her finally came out.
