In 2016, 11-year-old Ashlynne Mike accepted a ride from a man in a van, along with her 9-year-old brother. Their kidnapper drove them deep into the desert on the Navajo Nation Reservation. While the siblings are trapped in a nightmare with their abductors, Ashlynne's family struggles to overcome jurisdictional problems that prevent the local authorities from joining the search.
