This edition of The Old Paths Radio Broadcast with Brother John Gouge of Hickory, NC, was recorded off of AM 690, WZAP, Bristol, VA, on Sunday morning, September 19, 2010.  At this time, he was Pastor of Valley View Baptist Church, Hickory, NC and has also pastored Jacobs Fork Baptist Church, Marion, NC, but I am personally unaware of his present whereabouts.
Psalm 121:1-2 KJB: 1   I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills, from whence cometh my help.
2   My help cometh from the LORD, which made heaven and earth.
John 1:11-12 KJB: 11   He came unto his own, and his own received him not.
12   But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name:
Isaiah49:7-9 KJB: 7   Thus saith the LORD, the Redeemer of Israel, and his Holy One, to him whom man despiseth, to him whom the nation abhorreth, to a servant of rulers, Kings shall see and arise, princes also shall worship, because of the LORD that is faithful, and the Holy One of Israel, and he shall choose thee.
8   Thus saith the LORD, In an acceptable time have I heard thee, and in a day of salvation have I helped thee: and I will preserve thee, and give thee for a covenant of the people, to establish the earth, to cause to inherit the desolate heritages;
