Deeply-rooted from three generations of hunters, Jim breathed and lived duck hunting. Sharing his passion to future conservationists, young kids, and families makes him live the life he loves.

In today’s episode of Back to The Lodge Podcast, join our hosts for a great conversation with Senior Regional Director of Ducks Unlimited, Jimbo Robinson. They will unpack several ways of finding veterans to take into the outdoors and how Ducks Unlimited creates bond, brotherhood and mutual respect among members. Jim will also share his lineage of duck hunting, how COVID 19 affected their operations, and some life’s lessons he wants to impart to younger generations who like to get into the outdoors.

Matt and Patrick will also recall some of their scary animal encounters and Nick’s G-rated turkey chase and hysteric spider collision.

“Hunting in our family is just a way of life. Duck hunting is a way of life.  I'm very fortunate because sharing waterfowl, hunting with the next generation, like my grandfather and my father did to me, is something I'm very passionate about. Family events, future conservationists and young kids that come to Ducks Unlimited events, that's what drives me. It wakes me up every morning.”
