Welcome friends to Back Issue Bloodbath, a comics-centric podcast presented by Geek Hard. Join hosts Andrew Young and Petula Neale as they get down and dirty in the four-colour world of comic books, focusing on classic stories, new issues, comic creators and hot-button topics.











500 Episodes. Not a huge thing for some. A gargantuan feat for others. It’s a legacy that’s spanned 3 different co-hosts, 4 recording spaces (plus our now remote home), and hundreds of stories between the gutters. Today is a day of celebration. A day to look back on our accomplishments and take pride in what we have built. This is a place of comic analysis, history and a well-placed joke, usually on the raunchier side. This week on Bloodbath, we celebrate 500 episodes with a look back at comic stories from past episodes.







Back at the start of 2020, five years into Back Issue Bloodbath‘s run, Andrew welcomed Petula on as his new co-host. We thought it would be fun to hear from her which comics of the ones we’ve covered on the show have been her favourites. We have a fun chat about Far Sector (DC Comics), Killadelphia (Image), Money Shot (Vault), The Seeds (Berger Books), and Life-Death and Life-Death II from X-Men starring Storm!
