90: What To Choose: Hustle Or Meditation

What do you do when faced with an obstacle? Do you tend to reach for the tool of action and effort? Or are you the type to meditate and look inward?

Here are 2 key questions:

Is your main tool now your comfort?

Has this tool now become over-developed?

What I have found in working through both these scenarios within myself and my clients is that the execution of your dharma requires both! 

Internal Enquiry AND Massive Action.

If you were to create a clay vase, you would need to develop both skills of visualisation and creativity, while also putting your hands on the clay to bring your imagination into physical form.

If one of those two elements is out of balance, it would impede the artist’s ability to put their work out into the world and make the biggest difference, right?

Can you see your entrepreneurial journey in this metaphor also?

So, you might notice where you are out of balance and asking ‘yes, but what do I do next? How do I find more balance?’

Well here, are a few steps:

1. Be conscious and very honest with yourself about where you are out of balance.
2. Why is this overdeveloped? What is the side benefit you get?
3. Why must you change? How is staying this way keeping you from achieving?
4. Who would you ‘be’ if you were in total balance and strengthen BOTH skills?
5. What do you need to believe, feel, and do NOW to be aligned with this new version?

Yes, it will be uncomfortable, you will need to break down some old patterns, but on the other side, you will feel a new evolution into the side of you that is serving at a higher level.
