Avenue Red Podcast #177 - Carloscres

For the first time in a long time (and we haven't had many), Avenue Red presents a mix from the USA. Here we present Carloscres, a producer and DJ from Caracas, Venezuela who is now based in Houston, Texas. Primarily a purveyor of refined, high grade deep house/tech house stylings, Carloscres established himself within the underground music scene from his growing catalogue of widely-supported productions and by playing in a plethora of interesting bars, clubs and special music events around the states.

As a producer, his career kicked off with his first EP on Andre Kronert's 2600 Records, followed by another release on Nikola Gala's imprint. Over the years his works have graced many labels including Loco Records, Bosom, Soulstar, Society 3.0, Jesus Was Black and Oslo's Bogota Records. This mix is his latest document as DJ: a strong selection of brooding minimalist tech house; breezy, twilight deep house; driving, late night tech house and some scattered, jagged jazz-house vibes to finish.

"I grew up in Venezuela and have been playing and producing music since 2008, always trying to innovate and shape the deeper side of House and Techno.
