Avenue Red Podcast #141 - DJ Tripadvisor

For this episode of the Avenue Red Podcast we have another seasoned eastern German DJ taking over, this time DJ Tripadvisor from the city of Leipzig. Here this mysterious selector has put together a spellbinding, magically worked selection of deep, minimal house and techno records. The focus of the first half is on minimalistic, rhythmic, dubby intricacy, the latter half opening up into a beautiful abyss of tripped-out melodic deepness.

"This vinyl-only mix was recorded in one take without any pre-selection, like all of my mixes. The creative concept is to transport the intention to get on a timeless (musical) trip. But in a sensitive and human way... individual, non-linear with ups and downs, right and left turns.

In retrospect, when I re-listen to the mix by myself, I can imagine to be on a train ride with different landscapes, stops, weather situations or be on open-water to ride waves, or just flying up high and away to the stars on a flying saucer ;)
