Avenue Red Podcast #138 - Dami Darko

Avenue Red welcomes Buenos Aires-based Damian Miranda AKA Dami Darko, a guy who has been an underground warrior of his country for the past 15 years, both as a DJ and a promoter. Damian has worked on a range of independent projects where he has made strong contributions to an increasingly rich scene in the Argentinian capital city that is dubbed "The Paris of Latin America".

Classic Airlines has been his main platform for the last 6 years, a project that was started around 9 years ago together with his underground cohort Violett. This duo have managed to book and play alongside some amazing artists such as Juan Atkins, Delano Smith, Steve O'Sullivan, Mike Shannon, Deadbeat, Oshana, Cabanne, Andrey Pushkarev, Varhat, Janeret and Roger Gerressen, just to name a few.

In this mix Dami Darko showcases some of the sounds that characterise Classic Airlines, with clear dubby references and flirting between the limits of house and techno - always of the deep variety.
